Frequently Asked Questions

No, we are by appointment only. Your veterinarian or surgeon will need to send a referral form.

  • Evaluations are scheduled to take up to one hour to complete, and follow-up treatment sessions are 30 minutes, so please plan accordingly.
  • Make sure your primary veterinarian or surgeon has sent a referral to us in order for us to begin the evaluation.
  • Send the completed “Information Sheet” on our Contact Page to save you a few minutes at the beginning of the appointment.
  • Daily medications are okay to give your pet as per usual.
  • If your pet enjoys certain treats that can be used for motivation, bring them with you.
  • Make sure your pet has used the restroom before coming to rehab! If your pet poops in the treadmill, cleaning it takes away from your treatment time and can lead to additional costs. 
  • If your pet has had diarrhea or vomiting within 24 hours of your appointment, please make us aware of that fact as they will not be permitted in the underwater treadmill for sanitary concerns, and you may need to reschedule.

Yes. We request all pets be up to date on the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
  • Distemper Parvo

Common conditions we treat are Osteoarthritis, Elbow Dysplasia, Hip Dysplasia, CCL Injuries, Meniscal Injuries, Patella Luxations, Fractures, Degenerative Myelopathy, Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), and many more.

  • We can also focus on aspects such as pain control, weight loss, and agility training.
  • When your pet gets injured, please seek medical attention from a veterinarian, and they will determine the appropriate timeline to begin rehabilitation.
  • When your pet has surgery, we typically see them around 2 weeks post-op unless otherwise specified by your surgeon.

Yes! We are also able to treat cats as the protocols are very similar to those of dogs. If you have a question about a certain type animal, please ask.

No, we are not doctors of veterinary medicine, and we cannot prescribe any medications for your pet. That must be done through your primary veterinarian.

No, we do not have the capability for any diagnostic testing or imaging as that should all be done through your primary veterinarian.

Yes! We offer CUSTOM cart and brace fittings for your pets if necessary. We work alongside several great  companies to ensure your pet has the best tools possible for a happy, healthy life!
